MF 62/63/64 Veneer Board PreCBS Pickup Set

This set is reverse engineered from pickups found in 62-63-64 Veneer Board Stratocasters when they were still wound with heavy formvar and constructed with black flatwork. These pickups tend to be wound with more turns and produce a higher inductance which in turn give you more mids and lows. The coils were wound a lot more evenly which gave a lower coil capacitance.

Precbs 62/63/64 Veneer Board Strat Pickups

These are reproductions of precbs stratocaster pickups made during the era of 62-63-64, these guitars were then fitted with veneer board rosewood necks which replaced the 59 slab board necks.
