MF reproduction PreCBS sets are formed from years of experience unwinding and testing, the pictures show the investigation into a 59 Strat, I have data from early 50s and mid 60s pickups which I have put together to form one great set.  Each pickup has correct replicated Resistance/Inductance/capacitance & gauss.

This set is now known as "VINTAGE 23"

VINTAGE 23 ? -Even though these pickups are built using the specs of vintage 50/60 pickups the fact is they are of today but have the tone of the past.

This is an original 59 Stratocaster, as you can see in the picture each of the poles gauss was measured with a digital meter, this enables correct selection of each pole during the reverse engineering process.

Genuine 59 Stratocaster poles have been accurately measured, *Note the diameter is NOT big as stated by many builders.

In this picture you can see I obtained an original 59 Strat pickup along with an original 58 Stratocaster pickup, i sat and unwound both of these pickups and recorded the wind pattern to duplicate in the reverse engineering process.

59 Stratocaster bobbin unwound, flatwork measured and distance between the top and bottom flatwork measured. The flatwork I use is also period correct and stamped out, no laser cutter used.
