Reviews
I found these to be lacking in bottom end and top end chime. They seem to focus on the mids although they do have a balanced sound between the three pickups with great dynamic response. When I swapped back to my stock set I realized how much bottom end thickness was missing from the 62-63-64 set. There's a sharp mid frequency there that adds detail but this plus the rolled off top and less bottom end kind of give these a unique sound. Not really vintage Strat. Something else.
