The Twang O Tone set is built to capture the authentic ’50s Blackguard Tele vibe, with a carefully voiced balance of warmth, clarity, and bite. Using period-inspired construction and a unique blend of Alnico magnets, these pickups deliver the unmistakable snap and presence that defined early Telecasters.
•Neck Pickup – Wound to 7.1k DCR with 2.0H inductance, this neck unit features a nickel silver cover and a mix of extended Alnico magnets through the lower flatwork. With a north top, clockwise wind, it offers smooth, clear, open highs with a woody midrange—perfect for rhythm work and soulful leads.
•Bridge Pickup – Clocking in at 6.8k DCR with 3.2H inductance, the bridge pickup features a flat pole design and a mix of Alnico magnets, giving it that cutting Tele bite without harshness. Wound south top, counter-clockwise, it brings dynamic twang and punch, ideal for everything from chicken pickin’ to gritty blues.
